How to Change Characters

There are over 300 different characters to play in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga which you will not be able to do if you don't know how to switch them out. This How to Change Characters guide will tell you what you need to know.

When you play LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga you will always have at least two characters in your party. During story missions these characters will be locked as the game forces you to use characters that are specific to the sequence that they are based on in the movies. It is not until you have completed all Story Missions across the nine Episodes that you will be able to return to the scenes in Freeplay Mode and select the characters of your choice to play them again.

In order to change your characters in Freeplay Mode you need to go to the Holoprojector and select the 'Characters' tab. There you will see all the characters you have managed to unlock so far in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The characters will be listed in their class type - Hero, Jedi, Dark Side, Villain, Bounty Hunter, Scoundrel, and Protocol and Astromech Droids. Characters that are from the Deluxe Editions, and earned through Cheat Codes will also be included. You can also use the 'All Characters' tab if you prefer an A to Z format.
