My sims won't take care Of there baby how do I get them to take care of..

Re-position the crib, you probably placed the crib near an object/wall that the Sim cannot access it.

If the parents are not taking care of it that means that it is nothing wrong with the baby

My baby is lonely and starving but everytime I tell my Sims to take care of it, the command dissappears without an indicator over the sims head saying they can't get there, it just dissappears instantly

My sister had this problem and she put the crib in a big space

My Sims wont touch there baby I've tried everything but nothing worked I was moving my baby around with the moveobjects on cheat then put her back in the crib and got my sims to cuddle her but she doesn't move she just stands there the icon is on the top saying she doing it but she's not I tried the dad and everyone in the house still it didient work so I tried taking her out of the crib and that dident work I turned off all my Cheats but it didient work

I had the same problem...no one wanted to have anything to do with the baby. I realized (finally, after moving stuff around) that the crib opens to one side. I had the open side facing the wall. Flip the crib around and see if it helps. If you look at it there will be a closed side, and a railing side. Make sure the closed side isn't the one that is facing your Sims. =o)

My firsdt baby had that problem so I just saved up 5 LP and grew her up then and only then they strted loving her

Click on the baby so it is the one you are "controlling" (So it has the green triangle on it's head) then click on one of the parents... It will have options

My Sims won't take Car of their baby. It's not the crib. I've moved it a billion times. They won't even touch their baby.

Ok hi guys I'm just letting you know they are probably neglecting their child make sure both parents are sparkling with that green glitter stuff also just to let you know you can't buy a crib until you are level 8 and get a quiz calls two Sims and a half when that is completed you can unlock the childerens store it's a really hard annoying level especially if you don't have life points 😂

I didn't have all the baby furniture. I wanted to used something different and bc of that they wouldn't interact with baby. As soon and I got the rocking chair and the dresser/changing table they did all the commands with the baby.

I tried everything I could think of to get the Sims to take care of the baby but they wouldn't. I tried repositioning the crib like many others suggest in this forum but that did not work either. It took me quite a long time but then I had a blonde moment and realized that there was no door in order for the Sims to even get in the room. Once I put a door in the nursery, now everyone is happy to take care of him. So check that you created a door, that may just be your problem too! 😉

You need to make a separate room for the crib and put
It in the middle and if it still don't work there
Ain't nothin wrong with the baby

I'm having a similar problem. The cradle worked for me before, but today I opened Sims Freeplay and the parents suddenly could not do anything for the baby and the footprints bubble appears, which is strange because I haven't touched the cradle's position. The baby is also lying the wrong way. Sometimes it's lying across the cradle.....vertically? Instead of the usual way. I hope it's just a glitch.

If there are is like, a footprint sighn over the parents head , and they are refusing to take care of it , it is either because something is in the way of the baby's crib , or the parents needs aren't met. Like, the parents might need a shower, or hasn't eaten in a while. The same thing happen to me , and it was cause a chair was in the way , so if there is ANYTHING around it, move it , and try agian. Hope this helped , it took me like an hour to type lol.

I just realized if you added a room on for the baby and didn't add a door to get into the room they can't go in to take care of the baby..I added a door and it fixed my problemty

My Sims were also neglecting there baby and every time I would try to Madame them hold him they would say no. So I come to find out that if I flip the cradle to where the fat side of the railing was to the wall and my sims started to do cuddling and feeding him if I told them to

I had this problem too, but it's easy to fix! All you have to do is move the crib so it's facing long ways, so the Sims can get to the baby.
