After you reach level 10, one of the Goals will be to get engaged. You need to be romantic with a Sim of the opposite sex until the two Sims are Partners, then you should have the option to propose. Make sure you get a nice ring, because the nicer the ring, the more likely the Sim will say yes.

Ok, first of all, if you look on the Sims freeplay icon on your iphone, ipad, anything, if it has eggs on it, you have the wrong one. You need to have the one with the ring and baby bottle on it. But it has to update first. Once you get it you need to keep doing romantic a whole bunch of times. Then you need to move in together.then get a crib then keep doing romantic again.

Yes but I'm on the part where there partners and engaged and also have a crib and I clicked on it and it said I need to be married first. And I have tried romantic and that it's not working?
