Vera Mission #7: Pax Montello

"Meet Vera and Karen for a drink. you've earned it"

Vera invites you to a party held in your honor at the club. As you may have guessed, however, all is not as it seems and before long the party is crashed by frank and his goons. You start by simply having to deal with Frank's henchmen. There are only a few of them at this stage so it shouldn't be too hard.

Once you have taken them out, regroup behind the bar with Vera and Karen. You will have lots more henchmen to deal with after this, but take your time, staying behind cover and picking them off. After that, the game shows a cut scene and you are given some grenades to play with. Throw them at any henchmen near your position, dealing with the rest using regular weaponry - the grenades can't reach that far.

Eventually, Karen will be hit, and in the confusion as Vera escorts Karen away one of frank's thugs uses an RPG on you and knocks you out.

When you wake up, you are frank's prisoner and chapter one is complete.
