How to Fast Travel

Although it is fun to drive around and explore the map in Forza Horizon 5 to see what it has to offer, there will be times when you will prefer to fast travel straight to an event. This How to Fast Travel guide will tell you everything you need to know about how to get around Mexico quickly.

Fast travel is limited when you start playing Forza Horizon 5, you will only be able to fast travel to houses you own and specific festivals. Houses are purchased by driving to the property and 'View' it, if there is no option to buy it you may need to unlock events in the area first. To unlock the ability to fast travel to anywhere on the map, you need to unlock the Horizon Festival in the Baja region and spend 2 million Credits on purchasing the Buenas Vistas property. This particular house goes on the market after you complete the Guanajuato Expedition under the 'Street Scene' tab. To start this Expedition requires one Accolade point, once you complete it return to the house with the money, and you will purchase it. Once you own the property, you will be able to fast travel to any Fast Travel signs you have previously smashed.

Fast travel comes with a price tag that can quickly become costly if you use it too much. There are however two things you can do to fast travel for free. The first is to set one of the properties as 'Home' which will allow you to fast travel to that location at no cost and the second thing you can do is to ram into the Fast Travel signs you come across that are scattered throughout the map. These Fast Travel signs are marked on the map by a purple icon with a white lightning symbol.
