How To Unlock Leadership Skills

Within the game, all characters will be one of four different Classes: Ninja Class, Soldier Class, Constructor Class, or Outlander Class. In order to assign characters from specific classes as your Primary Hero (or to add them to your Team), you will need to unlock the Leadership Skill for that class of fighter. Since you begin the game with Rescue Trooper Ramirez and BASE Kyle, you actually won't need to unlock the Leadership Skills for the Soldier Class or Constructor Class. But should you like to use heroes that fall into the Ninja Class or Outlander Class, you will have to unlock their given Leadership Skills.

In order to unlock Leadership Skills, you will have to head to the Skill Tree. To get there, select the Skills Tab followed by Skill Tree: Tier 1. Once you reach the Skill Tree, navigate to the left until the Skill Tree eventually divides into separate branches.

From the top to the very bottom, the five branches represent the following:

1) Solider (Red)

2) Constructor (Blue)

3) Defender/Squad/Survivor Skills & Skill Tree: Tier 2

4) Outlander (Grey)

5) Ninja (Orange)

From here, follow the branch that represents the given Class you are trying to unlock the Leadership Skills for. For the Ninja Class, follow its branch while looking for the Shuriken Leadership Node; for the Outlander Class, follow its branch while looking for the Treasure Chest Leadership Node. Once you have found the Leadership Skill Node for the class you would like to unlock, use your Skills Points to unlock a path that leads straight to the Node. (Make sure you meet the prerequisites for the Leadership Skills Node before Building a path to it.)
