If you are still learning the ins and outs of this game mode, make sure to take a look at our 15 Battle Royale Beginner Tips before advancing with these.

7 Battle Royale Expert Tips

1) Bait others players. This can be done in a variety of ways. The first is to leave the door to an unoccupied Building wide open, allowing you to take cover outside the building in order to kill anyone who dares to approach it. You can also bait players with traps, simply by placing a trap near a closed door or Treasure Chest or even a rare item that you drop in front of it. These will lead to some of the easiest kills of your life.

2) Avoid taking damage from serious falls. If you fall greater than three stories, you will take damage when you hit the surface. The higher you fall, the more damage that will be done. In order to avoid taking this damage, try Building a flat wall for every three stories while going down a steep surface. More often than not, this will prevent you from taken said damage. Should you be falling down a tall cliff of sorts, face inward towards the cliff to slow down your momentum. The more you slow down, the less damage you will ultimately take.

3) Track supply drops carefully. When you see a supply drop falling to the surface, take a quick shot the balloon carrying it to see its health meter be displayed. By doing this, you will be able to watch supply drop as it slowly falls to the surface. Should you notice a health meter for a supply drop suddenly appear without you being the one to shoot it, you can expect a nearby player to be zoning in on it. With this information, you can slowly sneak up and kill others looking to cash in on the supply.

4) Become an expert builder. After learning the basics of Building, you should begin to learn the advanced modifications you can make to a structure. By removing a tile of flooring from an upper level room, you can effectively create an escape to a lower room. You can even cut a wall diagonally by removing three tiles from a given corner of a structure, allowing you to shoot without needing or having to create a ramp. The more you practice certain technique like these, the faster you will be able to build them during a Battle Royale.

5) Always cover Weapons you leave behind. If you ever have to leave behind some of your weapons in order to make room for others, always remember to cover them with something like a roof segment. This way, other players won't have easy access to picking up these items to use against you and others. You can even leave behind a random roof segment to trick players, leaving them vulnerable for attack should they go after it with hopes that there is loot underneath.

6) Stockpile your impulse grenades. As you come across and obtain Impulse Grenades, definitely make sure to hold onto them as you never know when you will need to get out of a bad situation. Not only can Impulse Grenades knock enemies off of other structures, but they are also great at propelling your own character out of the storm or off of buildings being ambushed.

7) Use the rocket to send your Squad mates flying across the Map. When playing in Squads of two or four in the Battle Royale, you can effectively use the rocket to give one of your teammates a ride across the mate. Simply have one teammate jump, and while they are at the maximum height of their jump, have the other teammate launch a rocket about waist high. If done properly, your teammate will ride the rocket across the map.
