Choosing the perfect party is just as key in Fortnite as any other aspect of the game. In order to decide on the best Strategy for your individual needs, you will first have decide what type of adventure you would like to have. After you have figured out exactly what type of gameplay you would like to have, whether a Solo run or a party with friends, you will have to adjust accordingly in your party settings.
How To Adjust Party Settings
1) While in your main menu, click on your party settings. By default, this will be set at the Public Setting once you begin the game. This setting willl see you paired with random players, but only if your party is yet not full. If you don't mind being paired with random people, then simply keep this setting untouched.
2) If you would like to do a Solo Run through Fortnite, you will have to adjust your Party Setting to read Private. This will prevent you from being paired with others, allowing you to play through the game all by yourself. Even though the Battle Royale concept apart of the game sees all players having to play by themselves, be prepared for even more difficulties during Missions by making a Solo Run.
3) Should you like to play with specific friends, all you have to do change your Party Setting to Friends Only. This will actually allow you to have the power to decide what other players you would like to have join your Team. On top of this, you can even set your Friends Only Setting to its own Private Setting, making your Party by invite only.
