Obviously, one of the key aspects of Fortnite lies within the art of building. No matter what form of gameplay you are participating within, whether Missions or Battle Royales, you will no doubt have to build some sort of structure at some point in order to be successful. On top of this, another key component of the game is building your Homebase. If you're looking for some advice on building the best structures around, definitely check out our tips below!

How To Be An Expert Builder

1) When playing Storm Shield Defense, definitely make sure to add people to your Permission List so others can help build your base.

2) In earlier levels, use your traps sparingly so you can save for tougher challenges ahead.

3) Build your walls with Stone or Metal, as they will make your base harder to break down.

4) Don't overbuild or overuse traps, especially in levels that don't require all that much.

5) Save your best traps for your Storm Shield Homebase.

6) In case you run out of your best building resources, always keep on hand some of the lower level Schematics.

7) Before upgrading your Schematics, make sure you're up for the challenge of finding those rarer items.
