EVE Echoes Mining Guide

Mining in EVE Echoes is the process of extracting resources from asteroids in asteroid belts and then selling the ores to earn ISK, the currency used in the game. If you have the appropriate skill you can refine the ores you mine into minerals for industry and manufacturing. Be aware that if you decide to mine for ores you can be attacked at any time by pirates, some asteroids are more dangerous to mine at than others. Check out our Mining Guide to find out everything you need to know about mining in EVE Echoes.

How to Mine

Mining in EVE Echoes will involve the following steps:

1) Fit a mining laser into your spaceship.

2) Undock from your station and go to an asteroid belt.

3) Mine as much as you can carry in your cargo.

4) Bring it back to the station and deposit it so you can mine more.

Ore Values

The ores that you extract through mining will have different values when it comes to selling them. Some ores are very common and not worth much whilst others which are rarer can be sold for a decent amount of ISK if you choose to sell them. If you are mining to earn currency you should not waste your time mining Pyerite and Tritanium, but instead focus on the ores that are more difficult to find.

Best Mining Ship for Beginners

If you are new to EVE Echoes and want to get into mining to earn some ISK we recommend you buy a Frigate from the Market. The ship needs to have a powergrid output of at least 32 MW, at least two High Slots Main for two MK 5 Miners, and a decent cargo hold capacity. The good choice that meets these requirements is the Magnate which can be brought from any faction.
