How to Make ISK

There are several ways to make ISK, the currency used in EVE Echoes. Check out our How to Make ISK guide to find out how to go about making money in the game.

Before you even begin playing a new session in EVE Echoes the game will reward you with some ISK for logging in. Once you begin playing you can earn ISK the following ways:

Mining

The most basic way to earn ISK in EVE Echoes is to mine ores, and then sell them. If you have the appropriate skill you can refine the ores you find for industry and manufacture. Check out our Mining Guide to find out everything you need to know about mining for ores in EVE Echoes.

Encounters

Combat, transport, and investigation are the three types of Encounter(s) Missions in EVE Echoes and doing them will enable you to earn loads of ISK which you can then spend in the market to purchase the best ships, ship equipment, manufacturing materials (ores, resources, etc.). Make sure you read the instructions of the mission before you start so you fully understand what it is you need to do. You will begin with the Basic level missions and as you increase the Tech level the Advanced and Expert tier missions will become unlocked. To access Encounter(s) Missions you need to tap the pilot avatar in the upper-left corner of the main interface and select the 'Encounters' option when the menu list appears.

Ratting

Ratting is the killing of NPC's for their loot and bounties. This is basically roaming across the solar system killing NPC ships that have a bounty attached to them.

Hauling

You can earn ISK by transporting items for players from one station to another. This is done through the Logistics Menu.

Refining

If you have a very high refining skills you will be able to make a lot of ISK by refining specific ores to get valuable minerals from them. A simple tactic would be to buy ores cheap from the market or someone you know and then refine them for a profit.

Trading

You will be able to earn a lot of ISK if you have an understand stocks and shares. If you have this real life skill you can put it to good use at the Market in EVE Echoes by buying and selling at an appropriate time to make a profit.

Manufacturing

You can make a huge amount of ISK by manufacturing ships and modules in EVE Echoes as there is a big demand for them. To do so you will need to buy its blueprint from the market. The Manufacturing itself is done from the Industry menu and will involve Planetary Production in order to mine the resources needed for what you want to make. Planetary resources are listed below.
