Whenever you level up in EVE Echoes new skills will become unlocked. You will be given the option of selecting either Clone skills or Ship skills. It is advised that you try and keep a balance between the two types of skills as doing so will help you to survive and prosper in the game. If you are not sure what to pick you can always check to see which ones you have already unlocked for your ship by tapping the icon on the upper right XP bar's side in the Skills menu to get a category view. Listed below are the skills that are available in each category.
Clone Skills
- Cruising Technology
- Maintenance Technology
- Electronics
- Weapon Technology
Ship Skills
- Industrial Technology
- Social Science
- Apply Science
- Natural Science
Skill points are awarded as you level up so they are not easy to come by, this means you need to make sure you invest them wisely. What you ultimately spend them on will be influenced by the type of ship you selected. When you obtain enough skill points you will raise your Tech Level, the higher your Tech Level the more skills and ships you will be able to unlock. Some skills are costly so you should only focus on investing Skill points on skills which you need the most. Don't waste Skill points on researching ships which you have no intention of using.
