How to Unlock the Trading Post

The Trading Post is an important building in Eiyuden Chronicles: Rising as it allows you to exchange certain resources for others. This How to Unlock the Trading Post guide will tell you how to build this structure that is run by Hogan.

How to get the Trading Post Side Quest

Before you can build the Trading Post in Eiyuden Chronicles: Rising you will first need to complete a couple of hours of the game's story so that you reach 'Main Quest 7: Catch That Girl!'. Then in order to get the side quest 'Go Get My Treasure Chest!' which allows you to build the Trading Post you need to speak with Hogan on Second Street right next to Rene's Pawnshop.

How to Build the Trading Post

You now need to make your way to the Great Forest either by fast traveling or by taking the main pathway. If you are fast traveling the closest Signpost to where you need to get to is the Cave Signpost and when you reach this location you need to continue along the right side. When you then reach the outside area again you will find a chest that is guarded by a plant enemy which you will need to defeat before you can take its contents back to Hogan to build the Trading post.

The Trading Post

Once the Trading Post has been built you can speak to Hogan to get the 'Have You Seen Sarita?' quest which once you complete will give you approval to receive new resources for trading. The Trading Post can be upgraded twice, upgrading to Level 2 is done by speaking with Sarita in the 'Outlander Lane' side quest and returning to Hogan. The Trading post is the ideal place to visit if you are having issues farming a specific material or want to trade what you already own for a different resource. The Trading Post is also the only building in Eiyuden Chronicles: Rising that will give you rewards for accumulating stamps.
