Top 15 Sun & Moon Pokemon We Are Excited About

#12:`Cosmog

Here we have another Pokemon that was first discovered from the hacking of the Special Demo, but one of the few that the Pokemon Company has since decided to officially release to the world. At first, this little guy was considered to be the Pre-Evolution of the Legendary Mascot Lunala. But since then, it looks like this little cutie is less connect to Lunala then was first originally believed. However, that doesn't mean once the games are finally released, that it still won't be a Pre-Evolution or alternate, weaker form of such Pokemon.

Let's face it: if you're a cute Pokemon, odds are you'll be coveted by most Pokemon fans. Just look at Pikachu, who has been the face of the franchise with its cute little face and adorable little shock pockets.

#11: Cosmog's Counterpart

If Cosmog made our list, you had to believe that this little guy would make it as well. Again, it was first discovered in the Special Demo hacking. It too was considered a Legendary Pre-Evolution, but of Solgaleo instead. But also since then, and after the release of Cosmog and its background, this common belief seems less and less likely as the games approach. However, it very well could be connected to Solgaleo more than we ever imagined.

Now no, we don't have the stats on this Pokemon, we don't have its background either, shoot, we don't even know its name, but it's this mysteriousness that sees it ranked just ahead of Cosmog. We aren't saying in anyway it will be better than Cosmog, but since not much is known about it, so many are looking forward towards it.

#10: Salandit Evolution Chain

If you're not really into the competitive play of Pokemon, you might not really be that interested in Salandit and its evolution to come. But if you are, however, you can't wait for this little guy, because you know it's going to change the entire landscape of Pokemon all by itself.

So how can such a Pokemon, one that's not even Legendary or Mythical, change all we know about Pokemon Battles? Well, it's relatively simple: it's ability. You see, Salandit has the ability called Corrosion. And with this ability, Salandit will be able to Poison other Poison Types as well as Steel Types, Pokemon before such that were immune to such status conditioning.

With that alone, most fans can't wait for Salandit. It also has a pretty cool look to it, adding to its personal hype.
