Top 15 Sun & Moon Pokemon We Are Excited About

At the time of this writing, we are less than three weeks away from the Seventh Generation of Pokemon being upon us through the releases of Pokemon Sun & Moon. And though there isn't much time left before this happens, there hasn't been many Pokemon leaked ahead of time. In all actuality, most of the known Pokemon from this upcoming generation has come through the hacking of the Special Demo for these games. Many are still expected to come, but for now, we will take a look at the top fifteen Sun & Moon Pokemon we are most excited for.

#15: Magearna

Magearna was the first Seventh Generation Pokemon ever revealed, first being shown in the Volcanion Movie. It was basically the main symbol of a new generation to come, and the hype for it and many more to come was at a climax. But since then, as more and more Alola Region Pokemon have been leaked, the hype for Magearna has diminished, has petered off some. But since many of the new Pokemon have been underwhelming thus far, Magearna continues to look like one of the best this Generation has to offer.

The best part of Magearna has got to be its Soul Heart Ability, where its Special Attack will sharpy increase after knocking out another Pokemon in battle. With just one knockout, and Magearna will instantly become a powerhouse sweeper like no other. Which, obviously, is far greater than what most of the Alola Region Pokemon seem to be able to do.

#14: Jangmo-o Evolution Chain

Coming in just ahead of Magearna in our little countdown of expectation is the Janmo-o Evolution Chain, including Hakamo-o and Kommo-o, what is widely considered to be the next Pseudo Legendary Chain. But unlike previously released Pseudo Legends, this chain seems to miss the mark just a bit, the main reason why not too many are looking forward to it.

To start, they are a Dual Typing of both Dragon and Fighting. At first, you may think this is great this there has never been of Pokemon of both of these typings. But that excitement quickly disappears have you realize that means these Pokemon are x4 weak to the overused and overpowered Fairy Types of Pokemon. That, plus this chain doesn't have that look, that appearance of every other Pseudo Legends that strike fear in most players. Not to mention, this chain appears to be more defensive than offensive.

We could be wrong, but for now, Kommo-o and the others will have to settle for this spot.

#13: Pikipek Evolution Chain

Now here is the first Pokemon and Evolution Chain that has only been revealed through the hacking of the Pokemon Sun and Moon Special Demo, but one great looking Evolution Chain it looks to be. We don't know about everyone else, but a Toucan just screams Pokemon and the Alola Region. Honestly, we can't believe, now that it's here, that it wasn't done before.

We don't have the name for these Pokemon outside of the first stage evolution of Pikipek, and we don't have the stats for such Pokemon either, thus why they aren't ranked higher on our list. But with the appearance of that Final Evolution, Pokemon Fans from across the globe will be excited to add this Pokemon to their teams early in either Sun or Moon.
