#9: Alolan Vulpix & Ninetales

Out of our entire rankings, only three Alolan Form Pokemon have made our list. This speaks volumes, at least we feel it does, on just how lackluster most of them have been so far. But Alolan Vulpix and Ninetales are different, they are diamonds among many, many piles of coal.

The main reason for this common opinion on these two is there appearance. They go from Fire to Ice Types, which will actually make them weak to their former selves, but they take on much more majestically elegant forms. It's also worth noting that with these two most likely means the creation of an Ice Stone to the world of Pokemon, which has been needed for quite some time.

We don't know their stats, we don't know their moves, but with looks like theirs, there was no way we could leave them off our list.

#8: Alolan Raichu

And here it is, the third and final Alolan Form Pokemon to make our cut. And it is none other than Alolan Raichu. Now Raichu has ALWAYS lived in the shadow of its Pre-Evolution Pikachu, for reasons everyone knows, but it has also never compared statistically because of the Light Ball. It almost isn't fair, but hopefully this helps Raichu lessen the gap.

Alolan Raichu is cute, but it's its other components that have players wanting to own this species one again. To start, it receives a Dual Typing with the addition of a Psychic Type. Not many expected this, but Raichu will take it. Alolan Raichu will also receive the ability of Surge Surfer that will double its Speed in an Electric Terrain. From out of nowhere, Alolan Raichu could easily be a powerhouse depending on its other stats.

#7: Island Guardians

It is at this point where power and precedence takes control of our rankings, beginning with none other than the Island Guardians of Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, Tapu Bulu and Tapu Fini. These are the guardians of each given island found in Pokemon Sun and Moon, and some have even called them deities in their own right. And when you are given titles as such, you know everyone will want to get their hands on them.

Just how strong they are, however, remains the question. But even with these concerns, these four Pokemon are still very much desired. Players also would like to know if something happens when all four our obtained. With their be something similar to the Swords of Justice and Keldeo, since its obvious these four make a totem pole when placed together? We'll all just have to wait and see...
