#3 - Mega Lucario

Now we here at SuperCheats know the whole backstory that Rayquaza was the true origin of Mega Evolution, but for many of us, Mega Lucario will always be that Pokemon. It was the FIRST EVER Mega Pokemon you competed with in battle in Pokemon X and Y, and the first ever Mega Pokemon you had on your team. It was chosen as the Pokemon who would introduce this new chapter into the World of Pokemon, and that in an of itself will always be special.

And as a Mega Pokemon, Mega Lucario is STELLAR. It has an IMMENSE Amount of Power: 145 Base Attack Stat and 140 Base Special Attack Stat. Those are are AWESOME, but they're even better when you factor in Mega Lucario's Adaptability ability. Adaptability increasing Mega Lucario's Same Type Attack Boost to x2 instead of x1.5. This easily means Mega Lucario has enough Power to sweep teams. But does it have the speed to be a true Sweeper? Ehh... Yes... And No... 112 Base Speed is pretty darn good in the Competitive World, but since Mega Lucario can't hold an item to further improve it, it''s actually pretty low (especially for a Mega Evolution).

Now if Mega Lucario had been given MUCH less Special Attack that it hardly is seen using AND it was given to its Speed Stat instead, there's really no question that it would probably be ranked as the best Sinnoh Mega Pokemon. Just think about it: 145 Base Attack Stat PLUS 145 Base Speed PLUS x2 STAB!!! It would be virtually unstoppable!

But since Mega Lucario lacks in Speed - and also a little with its movepool - it is seen spotted in the middle of the pack in regards to the Sinnoh Megas. It's not too bad, especially when you consider how good the other two Pokemon ranked ahead of it are. And besides, Lucario will always have the support and popularity of the Pokemon Fans across the globe, including some of the hearts here at SuperCheats for being that first Mega Pokemon.
