The World of Warcraft is one of the biggest network games in the world and is played by millions of fans the world over and fans of the online game are now counting down for the next upgrade installment to this game - World of Warcraft: Legion (currently expected to be released exclusively for PC in summer 2016). Having lost a large number of subscribers in the past year, this upgrade is incredibly important for the World of Warcraft franchise. The upgrade includes a new hero class, new weapons, a new continent (called The Broken Isles) a 100-level character boost, new quests, a new PvP honor system and a new feature (called the Class Halls or Order Halls).

Images taken from beta-tests of the new upgrade also show a huge visual improvement in the game. There is a lot of speculation that the upgrades to the game should relieve many of the frustrations for long time players (such as difficulties in PvP) and so should help to bring back many gamers who have quit the game.

This year's upgrade will also be available in a Deluxe Edition which will provide fans with a number of bonuses not available with the purchase of the standard edition including exclusive pets, heroes and exclusive clothing (all of the Deluxe Edition' exclusive content is available for in-game use immediately when the Deluxe Edition is pre-purchased).

5. Doom

Having been in development for over eight years, the reboot of Doom (earlier referred to as Doom 4) will offer gamers a brutal and gory but incredibly fun and challenging fast-paced shooter experience incorporating up to date technological advancements. Doom will introduce gamers to a virtual alien world (the game is set on Mars) that is invaded by demonic forces from Hell. You will play a marine stationed in Mars who sets out to destroy the invading force to save all of human kind.

Although many elements have been included from the earlier versions (such as classic weapons including the super shotgun and the BFG 9000), the lasted addition to the series is set to include a number of dynamic updates including melee weapons and new enemies. The game is designed to be interactive, with four multiplayer game modes having currently been confirmed including domination, team deathmatch, clan arena and freeze tag. The game offers a larges range of weapons that can be collected, will include some characters from the original games and will not have a health regeneration system (instead you must collect armor, collect health or kill enemies to regain health).

Doom is set for release on 13 May 2016 for PS 4, XBOX ONE and PC.
