Top 10 Series that Deserve a Sequel

5. Beyond Good and Evil

Beyond Good and Evil 2 was first announced six years ago, with barely a word about this highly-anticipated sequel since 2011. The Ubisoft Monipellier team has assured fans many times that they are still hard at work at Beyond Good and Evil 2, but without even a snippet of information or any gameplay shots, gamers are left very much yearning for the continuation of the series.

It's understandable why fans are growing impatient, too: The original Beyond Good and Evil released during the PS2/GC/Xbox era, and ended on a bit of a cliffhanger ending that left players wondering what would happen to one of the most prominent characters in the game. In fact, the entire plot of Beyond Good and Evil is incredibly interesting, and the world that was created definitely holds enough appeal to pull a second game out of.

Add in some fun adventure-genre gameplay that both harkens to The Legend of Zelda games while still being wholly different from the iconic series. Finally, with a digital HD version hitting XBLA and PSN a while ago, recognition is higher for the series than it has in a while… and that also includes the demand for a sequel is higher, too.
