Top 10 Series that Deserve a Sequel

1. Half-Life

You can't have a list like this without mentioning Half-Life. Half-Life 3 is possibly one of the most clamored for sequels for years, so much to the point that 'Half-Life 3 confirmed' has practically become a meme in itself. Every time Valve so much as breathes a word about something they are developing, fans are overcome with excitement, wondering if this is the time that the coveted Half-Life 3 will finally be revealed.

The reasons for this frothing demand are completely understandable, though. Half-Life 2 is a sheer masterpiece of a game, one that is a true gem in the first-person shooter genre. While the main game itself ends on a bit of a cliff-hanger, the DLC Episodes 1 and 2 help to flesh out the events after the main game. However, Episode 2 ends on a sad note, and without a resolution to the major events going on throughout the series.

Whether it is for the fantastic gameplay or the engaging storyline, or both, many fans are begging for a real Half-Life 3, one that will hopefully bring a resolution to the series. Whether we see that or not in the future is still unknown, but Valve wouldn't leave all of those fans hanging… right…?
