Go to The Town Hall, head to The Civic Center and talk to either Phyllis or Pelly and ask them about the environment. They will tell you the current standing of your town. What you want to hear is a statement that you currently have a perfect town:

" --Town Name Here-- is a great place to be! It’s really come a long way! Sounds like this resident is very happy. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could keep [your town] this livable forever?!"

That is the cue that the status of your town right now is at the best possible condition ever. If you can keep the Perfect Town status for 15 consecutive days, you will get the Golden Watering Can, hybrid flowers are easier to grow, and Jacob's Ladder flowers are blooming somewhere. Additionally, the rare Bugs tend to visit your town more often.

Otherwise, they will give you some advice on the areas of improvement of your town. These tips have corresponding solutions on how to improve your lovely town. Here are the comments they make and the solutions to resolve the concerns.

STATEMENT:

"This one is from someone who'd rather remain nameless ... "Ugh! This place is the worst! Seriously, what's up with this town?! Here, there, everywhere! Everything I see looks terrible!" You know, I think if we added some green, it would really help .."

SOLUTION:

Grab all the litter and trash on the town, remove all weeds and Rafflesia, plant more trees and flowers.

STATEMENT:

"It feels odd to write this but…can’t you take better care of our town?” That’s what the message says. He was holding back, but his sadness is clear. You know, I think if we added some green, it would really help."

SOLUTION:

Plant more trees and flowers

STATEMENT:

"Hmm… Well, it’s not passing, but it’s not failing either. Like more than milk, but not quite a milk shake, know what I mean?!" Hmm… Sounds like there’s nothing this resident likes or dislikes in particular. You know, I think if we added some green, it would really help…"

SOLUTION:

Plant more trees and flowers extensively. Do this everyday and plant as much as you can.

STATEMENT:

"Hmm… Well, it’s not passing, but it’s not failing either. Like more than milk, but not quite a milk shake, know what I mean?!" Hmm… Sounds like there’s nothing this resident likes or dislikes in particular. Hm, I’ll bet the problem is that there are too many trees…"

SOLUTION:

Find an area where you can almost not see the soil anymore because of too much trees, then cut down a couple of trees. Try asking again and if it still persists, continue chopping trees by couples and keep trying.

STATEMENT:

" --Town Name Here-- is a clean and decent place. But it feels like something’s missing." Well, at least this person sounds content. You can’t be ecstatic all the time. Everyone needs to work together if [your town] is to be the best town around!

SOLUTION:

Almost there, just plant a few more trees and flowers in places with few Flora around.
