Getting Started

It's super easy to get started with Age of Z, the game as a really good Quests system which will guide you through all the stuff you need to do to get started in the game.

There is a blue notepad icon at the bottom left of the screen, tap that to find out what tasks you need to complete to get quest bonuses.

They start off with very simple things, but it does help get you used to how the game works and how to upgrade things and recruit troops, things that regular players will be doing on a daily basis anyway.

Save Your Gold

Gold is the premium currency in the game. Age of Z does give you some and it can be earned in the game, but really you don't want to waste this on speedups early in the game. Save it up for more useful things later in the game.

Join An Alliance

In all games of this type you get many benefits from joining an alliance, from help in speeding up builds and tasks to support when you need some extra defense. In Age of Z you can join an Alliance quite early in the game. In the beginning it is not so important which one you join, as long as you can see it already has quite a few members. Select an alliance that allows you to join right away without approval if you just need to get into one to help complete a quest.
