On the west side of San Andreas, the airport has all locked planes and helicopters. I flew around for a while and got a pilot's lincense, but the planes are still locked. Many people said that their was a pilot school. Where is it? Will getting through it unlock the planes?

The pilot school is the air strip (north of resicted area) and yes doing the pilot school will get your pilot's lincense which will unlock every plane in the game

Ok, well I have the PS2 version of GTA:SA, but the answer will still be the same.

The piloting school is in Las Venturas(the dessert part that's made to be like Las Vegas). Torreno, the FBI agent guy, tells you to buy the abondoned airport. Once you do, piloting school will be available to you on a t.v. In the command tower, much like driving school, boating school, etc.

Toreno`s mission he tells you to buy an airport at the north there you learn how to fly.

The Pilot School is on the Third Island right above the Restricted Area and you have to buy it during a mission in order to learn and be taught by the place.

It depends on how good of a pilot you are. Click Start, then go to stats or whatever, and in 1 of those categories, find something about flying. There, it will tell you how good of a pilot you are. The better you are, the more planes and helicopters you unlock.
