Date of Question: Mar 13 2008 | Question ID: 112657 All right I really want a lot of answers I have asked my parents a lot about playing this game and they don't like it because it has sex and the f word in it. Otherwise all cusswords are just like the ones in my war games rated teen. How can I convince them. Please help. |

Just tell them that you cannot see any sex. And the only way that you can have sex in the game, is if you want to taint your character by doing it with a prostitute. Be mature about it, show them that you can play M games without overreacting to anything it shows. Just stay clam, and don't be nervous. Tell them that if they want to see a bad game, then they should go look at Manhunt 2(which sucks btw). Show them that you know that your actions in the game, should not be re-enacted in real life. Show them that you know that GTASA is simply a game, nothing more.

Well, I've had the game since I was 12, and my dad wouldent let me get it. So I just went out and bought it, and my dad told me to be responsible, and to know that you don't do stuff like that in real life. If your parents are going to fuss so much about stuff you see and hear almost everyday, then they probably don't want you to be responsible.

There isnt actually any sex in the game.
There is sex refrences, but no actual sex.
Also, it's only a game, My parents let me get San ANdreas when I was 10, because I understood that it was only a game.

Forgot to add something.
As for the F word. If you have seen a movie with cussing, then you've heard it all before. People say it all the time nowadays, so just tell them that you hear it quite often outside in the real world. Remember to stay calm throughout the entire ordeal. Even if they still say no, just nod your head, and go play something else. If you stomp your foot, or start shouting or complaining, that will make them think that you are immature. Keep a level head, and if they say no, bring it up regularly. Go play some of your games with violence in it, to show them that you can handle it, and that it will not affect you.

Just tell them it's my money that bought it so ia'm not takeing it back I've had mine for year or 2 my mum know the sex NOISES not pictures and swearing so does my bro and he's 23 only way you get sex is if you have pc download a mod
