Yeah, I know. Everyone's done this already but I felt like okay?
First up, if you're a Zelda noob, or you just suck at this game, here are some things you may want to have:
1. All bottles filled with faries and blue potion.
2. Make sure that you have full arrows or an upgraded quiver so you don't have to restock during the fight.
3. If you can get your hands on the Magic Armor that's great.
4. Make sure that you are good at horseback riding.
5. All of the hidden skills.
Okay, now onto the fight.
The first phase of this battle pits you against Zelda floating around the throne room. She has three attacks. First, she'll summon up a glowing triangle that will surge electricity into your body. As soon as she raises her sword make sure that you roll or backflip out of the way. This does one heart of damage and will gat bigger after you hit her once. She will also try to dive into you with her sword. This does half a heart and is fairly easy to avoid: just roll out of the way. Eventually she will summon a ball of energy from her sword and you will have to continuosly have to hit it back at her. There is no set number of times she hits back and the attack does one heart. Three hits and she goes down.
That is one giant pig. Why does it have sleeves? Ah well. This boss may look huge, but the previous bosses have taught us not to be decieved. This is that part that I said you would need arrows in so take out your bow. As soon as Ganon is done destroying pillars he's going to charg at you so get ready to shoot that big white stone in his forehead. He's going to slide when he goes down so watch out. When he skids to a halt, run around him and smack the big wound on his chest. Two regular slashes and a Great Spin are great here. Now, as you aim your bow... Gasp! He dissappeared! He's probably going to try to fall on you so watch out for that. If he doesn't try to squish you then Ganon is probably going to come out of one of those red portals popping up around the room. Once one of the portals turns blue, aim for the center; a familiar face is going to charge out. Shoot him, run to his belly and hack. Next time though, he'll dodge the arrow you shoot so turn into a wolf and get ready. This time when he comes out, flashback to the goat wrestling you did when you were a rancher. When the icon appears at the bottom of the screen, hit A and wrestle him to the ground. Then Z-target his tummy and latch on for some damage. Lather, rinse, repeat.
Oooh. A horse battle! This'll be fun! NOT! Try to get behind Ganondorf as fast as possible or you'll be usin' those potions pretty fast. As soon as you get in range, Z-target him and let Zelda charge her light arrows. She will miss if you are turning or at too much of an angle. Ganondorf might try to summon ghost riders(no, not from marvel) who hone in on you. These can be hard to dodge. Once Zelda hits hime, spur Epona twice and let out a spin attack before Ganondorf recovers. Four times and he goes down.
Final Battle. Geez, the last time we had a sword fight with Ganon was... Never.
He is a super duper darknut. Use backslice on him to get to his back. Make sure to change directions so he doesn't figure out your pattern. If he jumps into the air, run away. Jump slices aren't a good idea ever. You might be able to get in a mortal draw if you can get that close. He'll charge you if your to far away, and that hurts because you can't block it. I f you are just the right distance from him though, you will enter the oppurtunity to start a "chance". Basicly, when the icon appears, tap A once to enter the mini-game. This is a classic mash-the-button-tll-your-finger-falls-off kinda thing. When you finally overpower Ganondorf, you can get in a few cheap hits on him. Oh yeah, and you can also wave the fishing rod around him to get a few hits in. Eventually you knock him on his back. You have only a few seconds to use the finishing move on him before he gets up. Once you hit that final A button, you win.
Here they are:
1.) you get at the begining (containg milk)
2.) buy from the lantern guy
3.) buy the fishing hole, by the "NO LITTERING" sign, in the secluded bit of water, it is possible to "fish" a bottle
4.) get from jiovani after catching 20 poe souls
In Hylia Lake, put on your Zora Armour and jump in. Swim to the southernmost point on the map, and equip your Iron Boots. Look for some orange reeds. (You can test if they are thee right ones by slashing at them, the right ones cannot be cut down). Once found, if you walk as far as you can into them, you will find a chest. The chest has one hundred rupees in it.
Not really a hint but something in the game.2 of the 24 golden bugs have the triforce on their back.
While in the temple of time use your ball and chain to hit bells supending in the air. Whenever you hit a bell for the first time a red rupee will appear giving you numorous rupees from this dungeon.
To be able to hold more arrows, go to West Hyrule Castle Town and enter the tent along the alleyway. Play the star game (you need the clawshot) and complete it to get a larger arrow holder.
To get the largest, go back again once you're got the double clawshots and clear the new one.
Also note, once you've completed this you'll be followed by the girls outside the tent. Talk to them and they'l drop some health and run off screaming as if they just met a celebrity.
Okay first make sure your stocked up on potions you may need them, I didnt but you may. Anyway the first part is fighting Zelda possesed by Ganondorf. Basically this is an ocarina of time knockoff, but this might be your first zelda game played. All you have to do is when Zelda shoots energy balls at you hit them back with your sword, (note: she will probably hit it back)Repeat 3 times and you win that part. Also dodge when she charges at you. She could also use this glowing triangle attack that you probably dodge unless you want a heart knocked out of you. Part 2 is is Dark beast Ganon where ganondorf is a giant warthog. First have your bow at the ready at all times during this fight. Now when ganon charges at you shoot the glowing spot on his head with your bow and then he will fall over(beware you can still get hurt by him when he falls and hits you). After he falls over run over to his stomach and start slashing. I forgot to mention Ganon goes through these teleporting like things that glow red, remember bow at the ready. When a red teleporter turns blue thats where he comes out(beware he may teleport above you where he falls on top of you). Repeat this twice and then he will dodge your arrows, then you turn into a wolf and wrestle with him like the gorons except with no Iron boots. Throw him off and then attack his belly by lunging, repeat twice and part2 is over. Part 3 you're on epona with Zelda and you need to get behind Ganondorf to let Zelda shoot him with light arrows and then if the shot is a direct hit, ride up to Ganondorf and slash him with your sword. Repeat 4 or 5 times and part 3 is over, in part3 Ganondorfs attacks are slashing you with his sword and summoning these weird ghost riders that are annoying. Now the final battle. In this part you fight ganondorf on a 1on1 battle to the death. Ganondorf is basically a harder and more annoying Darknut without it's armor. The skulls around you have a fairy and hearts, use them wisely. 3 easy ways to get ahit in is.
1. Do the back slash to knock him back and then attack, this may not work all the time.
2. You could also use your fishing rod to distract him and then attack, this may also not work all the time.
3. When ganondorf charges at you and at the bottom of the screen it will say press A for Chance, do this any time you can it is a great way to get hits in. Then finally when Ganondorf falls to to the ground use your finishing move and then you win. HOORAH!!!!
If you have the sinking witch you should have if you read my other hint never hire a guide and use it or she will take it away. But if your smart enough always save it before you go fishing.
All you have to do is use the backslice while switching directions each time. If you do that you will hit him every 2nd, 3rd, or 4th time. Then soon he will be on the ground and then just use the finish attack and kill him.
There are 4 silver rupees in the game. They are worth 200 each. Three of them are in hyrule castle and shouldnt be too hard to come by because there arn't too many chests in the castle. The other one is in Kakariko village on top of the bell tower. To get it get on top of the bell tower to where it is boarded up and shoot the inside of the bell with a bomb arrow and a silver rupee will drop down.
In the fishing hole go to the very edge of the water on the left side of the hut and dangle the fishing rod in the water (with no bait) and when the float goes down take it as it were a fish and you should pull up the sinking lure if it doesnt work the first time keep trying as I was just fishing for fish and I pulled it up.
When you are fighting ganondorf for the final time on the game you may find that he keeps blocking your moves but if you take out your fishing pole and wave it around at him he will get distracted then he leaves himself open for your attacks
If you're in the bomb shop in kakariko village as a human, turn on your lamp inside the store. Barnes will put on a mask, hit a button, and he'll pour water on you.
When you capture the golden bugs on this game some of them have a triforce mark on them somewhere. Also when you beat the star game both times the guy running it tells you to leave and never come back if you don't play, but if you do and win you get 100rupees.
Pooly boy out!
If you hit a chicken 10 times you will be able to control it for 10 seconds!!
Ganon has 3 forms who all have their cetain weaknes and the first one is
"Puppet Zelda" after the cutscene ends she will be floating around the whole room. The only attack that you need be aware of is also a common one as she summons up a ball of light and throws it at you(DON'T AVOID THIS ATTACK IT'S THE MAIN KEY TO BEATING HER) what you do is lock on to her before she does this and try to stay locked so you won't lose track of her and miss you chance , in order to bounce this attack back swing your sword at the right moment and you two will engage in a little game of tennis after the gets hit 3 times by her own attack you'll see another cutscene and you'll be facing Gannon's next form , the Beast Form.
This form won't take long if you stay in wolf form the whole time. When the battle begins,Immediately head to the front of the room and transform into a wolf, this will make the portal easier to find.As Ganon is heading torwards you use the techneque you used to stop bulls and gorons, transfrom back into a human and continuously use spin and jump attacks for maximum damage, rinse and repeat.
The third form is Ganondorf while on horseback and a Sword Vs Sword Duel with the evil king himself. The horseback battle isn't really the hard just lock on to him for about 3-5 seconds and slash him, four times. The real battle is when you're seperated from Zelda and have choice but to have a Sword-Sword Duel with Ganondorf who fights like one the those knights when you tear off the armor. There are two ways to aproach his very high defence you can use the back slice by getting close enough that his attacks will miss and continuously use it until you you get a hit then slash the crap out of him unlit he blocks your attacks. The other method is wait until he charges at you and you see the word chance on the
screen then knock him back and slash him..... A lot. To see how much damage he's taken, look at his cape and the more battered it is the more damaged he is.If you run low on health , there are skulls with hearts in them , and one a fairy. After a long sequence of slashing, use your finishing move.
In hyrule field by east castle town go to where you find the female butterfly clawshot up there turn into a wolf and dig in the middle of the circle rocks you will have to kill some armored monsters (i forgot their name) and a treasure chest will apear with 100 rupees inside.
You know that sword manover thing Link does when he defeats a boss? You can do this after defeating an enemy too.
Just after killing an opponent with your sword (i.e. When it's turning black and exploding in a black cloud/breaking up in to twilight) press A to put away your sword and he'll do it. This doesn't work on every enemy (I know it works on the green moblins, lizalfos, deku babas and skulltullas).
You know the saying money doesn't grow on tree they're wrong bump in to any tree on the edge and some money or hearts should pop out and maybe blue rupees
