The Prophecy (Prologue)

Last Updated:

First if you have not seen the movie then you probably do not know that what you are looking at here is pretty much a bunch of scenes from it -- the game pretty much meshes itself with the movie but you do not have to have seen it for the game to make sense or to play it really.

The Prophecy takes place at some indeterminate time in the past, when the great and wise wizard faces off against the antagonist -- the Evil Overlord -- trying to protect the sacred object while fighting off the Overlord's minions.

After the extensive and rather impressive cut scenes (CS's) you gain control over the characters that are present, and begin your attempt to battle the attacking forces!

Before we begin I want to remind you that scattered around the zones are LEGO Studs that are worth different values --- and you should always make an effort to collect those because they can be used later to buy things.

In addition to that though, there is also the fact that different levels have minimum Stud collection targets. So try to be good about collecting both types -- the ones that are placed in the zone, and the ones that spawn -- but bear in mind that the spawned Studs will disappear after a limited time!

As the level begins you see the Overlord enter, and you are given control of the Wizard.

Quality Tip: The running commentary by the antagonist in this section of the game is pure brilliance - if the writers responsible for the dialogue for this part of the game do not win at least some sort of creative or humor award that just would not be right! Our advice to you is to take a few moments and really appreciate what you can experience here in dry self-depreciated humor. Totally worth it!

The first task you have is to defeat the trio of robots that are sent against you -- that is to teach you how to attack using the action button.

After you defeat them the next rank moves forward and starts shooting a laser at you -- the idea here is to not be hit by it but to lure it to the far left of the rear area so that it cuts apart the pieces for the first Rocket Build Project.

The opening CS and the Prophecy that sets the story in motion

Once that happens you need to build it using the Build Button (B) and then use Y to switch to the female character (Cleopatra) in order to use her high-jump ability to jump on the Rocket Activator. That shoots the Rocket at the monolith on the side, damaging it and getting you some mocking from the Overlord.

With that managed another group of Robots will be sent against you -- defeat them and then a new laser attack starts -- at which point you need to lure the laser to the right rear area so that it creates a second Rocket Build Kit.

As before, use B and Build it, then have Cleo activate it to hit the second monolith.

With that mischief managed switch back to the Wizard and stand on the marked spot, holding X to activate the Master Kit Build option - then simply highlight the three segments for the Master Kit and build them.

Sadly that does not save the day -- the Wizard is hit, and the Overlord advances, taking the fabled weapon.

At this point the Wizard tells him the Prophecy -- and reveals the existence of the Piece of Resistance and the Unknown Hero -- which fails to impress the Overlord!

At this point you will unlock your first Achievement in the game -- Cover Your Butt (20G) Complete Prologue - The Prophecy.

Well done you!

With this bit managed it is time to meet the Protagonist -- Emmet -- who while he is a nice guy is not, sadly, the true Chosen One.... But hey, that's good - it will make this all that much more fun!

I will discuss the matter with my editor - maybe we can add a new subsection and cover that side...

Can you please make this for Nintendo 3ds. Nothing written here has anything to do with the game for the 3ds and I can't find a walkthrough for it anywhere and I'm getting very frustrated. Please help.
