The game so far has made a lot of sense, the progression orderly, the goals and challenges logical. Thing is it is about to get really really strange, really really quickly! And when I say weird what I really mean is acid trip weird... Because we have been rescued by Batman, and are now on our way to Cloud Cuckoo Land....

From the Old West you head to the cemetery where Batman has parked his ride - and use his Batclaw to pull it down so you can board, at which point he takes off because yeah, he knows the way... And the way requires him to drive up the curve of a rainbow.... Which hey! He does! Really well!

Welcome to Cloud Cuckoo Land!

At the top of the Rainbow you get out in the clouds, at which point you can do some Stud gathering and ther are some collection objects (big flowers) you can spear with the Wizards Staff. Having Batman Claw the kite will lower the next path so you can access it.

-- Working the Clouds --

As you make your way along the clouds there is a set of balloons that Batman can Batarang to lower the next area. The fifth Flower collectible is here and claiming it earns you a Golden Page.

At the end of this cloud is a Master Build that, when completed, adds a sail that you can then use to move the cloud over to the next part of the path by having Batman target the sail and adjust it.

Our next challenge is to have Wyld head up the girl-jump and push the kit down, so that a Batclaw hook can be built and the stairs pulled down.

Reaching the Secret Entrance

Another Snowman Build and a Golden Page can be had above in the cloud backing, but you will need to use Wyld's jumping ability to get that. You should try to get the third Snowman Build - I mistakenly used the Secret Knock to enter the next zone, not realizing that it would be automatic so I missed that in my first play-through for the level.

-- Welcome to Cloud Cuckoo Land Proper! --

As you enter you are greeted by Princess Unikitty, who as you quickly learn can smash Rainbow Objects -- which is good for you as she is added to your party and you need her to continue the journey!

Cloud Cuckoo Land seems to be a very happy place -- and there are plenty of Studs if you still need some...

Using Unikitty have her smash the Rainbow Objects to make a kit and build the bridge to the next area -- crossing that will take you to a rather complicated set of tasks that involve animating the two figures here.

This starts by Batman pulling open the panel and Emmet repairing the mechanism, then Batman targeting the second figure to rotate it and reveal the girl-jump board.

Using the Wizard's Staff to create a swing poiunt, Wyld can then jump up to that, swing oover to the board, and end up on top of the first figure, where she can push the Rainbow Object down.

Reaching the Upper Section

With that mischief managed Unikitty can build the kit to create the flinger that will take you all to the top of the first figure, who will then transport you to the next area!

-- From the Upper Section --

Now that you have surmounted that obstacle it is time to continue on to the Toaster! Seriously...

The objective here is to get enough weight on the plunger to bring the toast into the Toaster - to do that you need Batman to pull the platform on the right, and then have Wyld and Unikitty jump on hte lever, at which point the toast gets toasted and a new kit part is available as soon as Unikitty breaks it up that is.

This creates a Flinger to take the group to the next part of the zone where they find the Sleeping Chick.

At this stage the player needs to have Unikitty break up the Arch, after Batman pulls it down. This creates the kit to build the bridge to the right, and once there Batman can pull the Tea Pot over to flood the area, at which point the Wizard needs to plant his Staff to make a Swing Point for Wyld.

Once Wyld uses the Staff to reach the next part of the path, the Wizard needs to collect his Staff with B and use it to create the next section of the path -- which Wyld then swings from to reach the next segment and pull it down.

On the upper level Wyld needs to go to the right and grab the crank handle by smashing the flower then use it on the Jack-in-the-Box to unleash the next stage in the level, which allows Batman to jump up and open the Chick's mouth.

Reaching the Chick Level

Wyld then jumps in, and the Chick plops her out in a Rainbow Egg!

Roll the egg down to the lower level so that Unikitty can smash it and build the next kit that creates the Flinger to move the crew up to the Chick level!

-- The Tube --

Just up the steps to the right is another Secret Tap Door that the White Wizard opens, allowing the group to pass inside the Tube, which transports them to the Elephant Level, at which point Emmet reminds the crew to keep an eye out for Instruction Pages -- and finds one!

To reach that Emmet neds to use his Drill on the left side, then you have a Master Builder complete the Master Build Project. That creates the Mouse, which freaks out the Elephant (grab the Instruction Page on the left).

Building the Rocket Ship

Now Wyld can jump up the girl-ump tube and grab the Instruction Page at the top, then head to the right along the tightrope to the next area, where she jumps down the tube to reach the final Page and claims it!

Back to Emmet now, who uses the Build Machine to build the Rocket that the team then uses to reach the next level - well done!

This triggers the final CS for the level, and the level ends, giving you Level Complete, FreePlay Unlocked, and unlocking the Achievement "No Frowny Faces" (20G) Complete Level 6 - Welcome to Cloud Cuckoo Land.

In addition to getting Unikitty added to your party for free (and her free unlock), you also unlock the characters Emmet (Clown), Shakespeare, Magician, and Gallant Guard.

Finally the Stud count takes place and you earn your Golden Blocks.

-- Wrapping Up Odds and Ends --

As with previous levels before we head on to the next one there are some odds and ends we need to complete, starting with purchasing the new characters we have unlocked!

Those are Emmet Clown (50K), Shakespeare (100K), Magician (100K), and Gallant Guard (50K), who total 300K Studs. They can be found in the Cloud Cuckoo Land Hub, and bear in mind you do not actually have to search for them in the Hub, you can open the character change menu and simply locate their unlocked icon there and make the purchase there...

-- Bricksburg? --

Now this is one of those optional side-trips but worth doing if you are willing to take a moment -- so why not hit the warp point and head back to Bricksburg to grab some extra Studs and a few opportune character specific actions?

The Unikitty object in front of the Police HQ is actually a Flinger - so have Unikitty destroy it to get the kit and then build the Flinger, then have Batman Fling to the far roof and Batarang the target on the shed there to release another of Mrs. Scratchen-Post's kitty cats! Well done you!

-- The Old West --

A quick trip back to the Old West Hub allows you to build the Unikitty kit in the cattle chute, which creates a Rainbow Butterfly that collects the 4th Bird in the Hub! Well done that!

With that managed it is time to return to Cloud Cuckoo Land!

Switch to RoboCop (Rocket) and blow away the large Silver door to gain access to the area beyond where you can repair the mechanism with Emmet to release the second Jack-in-the-Box (or is that Kitty-in-the-Box?).

Have Wyld do the Master Build to build a set of stairs that give access to the area above, where the Red Brick Fast Secret Knock is located - that will set you back 100K in Studs but speeds up the Secret Knock Puzzles so it is worth it! You also find one of the three Instruction Pages here so be sure to grab that!

Then have Unikitty smash the Rainbow object there to build a Flinger that will send you to the distance next area of this side-section -- you do not have a Fire Character though so all you can do here is collect some Studs and get Flung back to the main area...

Back int he main area use Batman to Batarang the target on the upper floor of the building near where the silver door was -- and have Wyld jump up and grab the second Instruction Page there.

Well mates that is it for now, at least until we get a Laser Character and a Fire Character that is... So it is time to head to the marked exit and our next adventure!
