Freeplay Overview

When we approach the subject of FreePlay Mode what we are really talking about is the desire to achieve 100% completion in the game, following the story mode play-through.

To achieve that end the player needs to complete the following - mostly in Free Play:

Unlock and purchase all 20 Red Bricks.

Unlock all 70 Gold Bricks.

Unlock and purchase all 96 characters.

Much of the above will be completed either in the Story Mode (if you are following this WTG) or as part of the wrapping up process, including the focus on the following:

15 Levels in Story Mode (equaling 15 Gold Bricks)

Unlocking the 'Special’ in all 15 Story/Free Play levels (equaling 15 Gold Bricks)

Collecting all of the Golden Manual Sets (there are 5 in each level, and 75 total equaling 15 Gold Bricks)

Collect all 15 pairs of Pants (one in each level equaling 15 Gold Bricks)

Unlock the 10 Gold Bricks in the Bonus Room (10 Gold Bricks)

The key to success for this process is to be sure to enable (turn on) all of the Red Bricks you own, and in particular the ones that find other collection items like Pages, Bricks and etc.
