Would you let an 11 year old play black ops zombies or battle field 3?

Absolutely not!
The Age Ratings are strictly put on the boxes to stop underage kids from buying them.
Black Ops and Battlefield 3 both have an age Rating of 18yrs old
These games have bad language, violence and gore

Well, I don't see anything wrong with Black Ops Zombies, but I wouldn't recommend Battlefield 3.

Well I'm 11 and I play zombies but I've never played battlefield 3.

Personally, it's all dependant on how mature said 11 year old is. If they appeciate the difference between a game and reality and appreciate that you do not, under any circumstances attack people in real life with weapons etc, then I personally see no issue. But if a child is unstable in their mental capacities, then no, I would NOT let them play a violent game until I was positive they had reached a point in their development which meant they were mature enough to understand the concept of video game versus reality.
