I'm so frustrated. I'm at Studio 8 trying to complete the art show goal, but I keep having my sim throw a party and it doesn't work. The people come over but it never says "the party has started" and we always have to greet them. Am I ever going to complete this goal or do I have to restart the whole game?

You have to buy stereos, turn on the music and buy some new decorative stuff.

You have to have some music things for the guest to do and have lots of food and sits so they can sit down and you need to be in a good mood

What I did was bought a guitar. I was level ten and started playing, when at least 4 of them started dancing....it worked!

You have to take all of the art that's in, AND around the house, and put it in the hallway by the kitchen and in the dining area. Then throw the party. Greet people and everyone will notice your art work.

I spent near 200,000 simoleons upgrading the place and did nothing, I bought a $80 stereo and everyone loved it... So just make sure there's music and your good.
