How do I get passed the lava bit in level 4?

ANSWERS

I use Tails (though it recommends Sonic). Just keep running left, make sure you are fast so the lava doesn't catch you. If you come to a part where you have to use homing attack as Sonic, fly into one of those rings that give you a boost. At the top, defeat the enemy and the barriers will dissapear. Soon you'll come to a ring you have to grab. Jump off to the left, get the item and jump upto a spring (jump high as you can't see it easily). It will launch you upto another platform. Defeat the enemies, jump on the spring and you're out, with the goal ring feet away.

Use fly, when a robot comes along switch to power and thump the damn robot, go back to fly when at top shoot flying robots, get power to thump them when they're down and the net thingy goes away. Change to fly and fly fly away. Do this all quickly and you should do it.
