How do you beat the Egg Emporer stage?

The invinicibility after their Team Blast not working for you?

The reason I'm asking this is because after you Team Blast with Team Rose, every character levels up, you get a shield (or barrier) and you become invinicible for a short time. Well, I know a few things to help you out so read this carefully...

To cancel out the charge attack use whoever's in Power Formation (in the case of Team Rose, that's Big). When he's almost hit you, press square and keep pressing square so you should cancel it out.

For the waves, try your best to stay in the middle of the arena so if you do get hit by them, you won't fall off. Dodging the vertical ones is fairly simple, just run to the side. However, the horizontal ones present a little more of a challenge. Depending on how high they are either jump or just run through them. If they're about the height the team is when you're in Fly Formation (Cream), you can just use Speed (Amy) or Power Formation (Big) to run underneath them.

If you fail using these methods first time, keep trying. Don't worry too much, I lost about 10 lifes trying to beat this guy on Team Rose.

All right, first things first. This works with every team. When you start the level get all three power up boxes and continue to chase egg emperor. When you get to the gap turn to fly formation and jump as far as you can towards the balloon in midair before you start to actually fly. Get the balloon and fall on the other side. When you get to the end of this platform punch the gong and when you get to the other side destroy all the cannons FIRST.

If you spot any GROUND enemies (enemies with their feet on the ground unlike the E-2000) destroy them too. DO NOT go after enemies in the air. You should have your flying character up to level two by now. If you don't then you didn't pay attention. Hit the egg-emperor non-stop with thundershoot until he starts to retreat, then get RIGHT under him in speed type before he attacks and use tem blast. If you did what i said then you should have it. If you are playing as team dark and do this very fast, you should be able to finish him in less than 1:30. It's okay if you don't. Wait until he's a little bit far away from the platform and use the pole to get across.

Careful, if the egg-emperor is too close, sonic and shadow will do tornado jump around him and fall to their deaths. Repeat this process and he should be finished by the second time he stops.

Defeating the egg emperor with team rose is difficult, it just takes a lot of repetitive manuvering. Using team blast once doesn't cut it, it takes about three to four tries to successfully take him out. Dr eggman will leave the platform, there's no way around that. (for an extra tip: get right under him after he swipes on the platform your team blast meters full) (also before you try to attack him on the platform, take out the four cannons! You'd be amazed at how much easier it is to attack him)

For the energy waves, I found the best thing to do is weave in between them. If he does charge just make sure to have enough rings to be able to recover otherwise the cannons will knock you out.

The whole stage should take (or at least for me after 50 gajillion tries) close to 7 minutes so don't rush unless youre trying to get all A's (if so, you're on your own ^^")

I think beating the stage was easy if you just remember this one little trick which is use big and run around the platform attacking the air till you get another team blast use it then got to the next platform and do it agian this also works with the other teams.

Simpley easy!
Alright this will work with any team.
Chase the doc and when you get to the platform collect Team Blast by just repeatedly attacking with either flight or power formation. Do not attack with speed for you will fall off the edge. If you do this in flight also attack the doc. When team blast is activated use SPEED formation and use your homing double jump to attack him.

Repeat untill Dr. Eggman is destroyed!

It works for me anyway!

Well, I use this for all teams:

1. Use Flight to go through the two "trails" and grab the Flight and Power Level-Ups. If he gets too far away, use Speed.

2. On the gong, get the Power Level-Up. On the Platform, use the Thundershoot to paralyze his Shield, then start killing him with the Power type's Fire Dunk/Body Press on his weak spot.

3. When he runs, use the tornado on the pole so he doesn't interrupt you on the ramp.

4. Keep repeating.

Use tails with 2 power up
