I've even had trouble. Yo need to evade all attacks and always use Team Blast when close to the enemy.

No no no
You have to collect all level up disks an the attack with tails
(fly formation) trust me it gets A-rank everey time unless you suck at it

When on the path be the speed type then on the circle be the flying type and hit his sheild then attack the middle of him or use team blast
