I have a skyline would it beat the showdown king if I max out the upgrades

Depends on which "mode" you have it for.
Grip: it would be a tight race, but too risky. I would recommend the Porsche 911 Turbo probably. Drag: difficult to say really. Again a fairly tight one probably.
Speed: This is the most riskiest since the Skyline takes off in the air more than Ryo (the Showdown King)'s Evo X. You can try havign the Skyline fully tuned to either level 3 or 4, then re-stocking the suspension to reduce the air-borne nature of the Skyline to give yourself the best chance with the Skyline.
