Hi all I've obviously got bit of a problem when I am on heat level 4 on need for speed most wanted they start bringing the spike strips out and the helicopter the helicopter is no problem for me but I need to know is there any easy way that you can get through the spike strips with out your tires blowing? Plz reply ASAP thx all

ANSWERS

Nope, you can't go through the spikes without blowing your tires. Try ramming the cop cars next to the tires, or speedbreak before going through it, because there usually is an open space.

NOTE: Listen to the cops talking on the radio. When a roadblock is set, at almost a distance of 500 m (1500 ft), the cops say whether there are spikes or not, and where they are, to prevent themselves.

If you hit the spikes, you need to be VERY lucky to get away. I was on my GTI once, and my left back tire blew on a strip. I don't know how I did it, but I got away. Yes, it is possible to get away with a blown tire, maybe even two.

Yes,if they lay the spike strips in front of a car,go and hit the other car to blast through. If it's on a particular side,Left,Right,or Center just hit the back bumper of the police car,you will blast through the roadblock without your tires blowing

Dont go through the middle, where the spike strip is, hit into one of the cars either side.

Hi, when you hear that a road block is set up listen to the radio on what site is the spikes. When near block press the "E" brake so that you can see the spikes. SteveHS

easily sort them out by goin up nd look bhind u (^) then spin round then carry on that way its the way ov the proffesional gamers :P

Nos into a cars' boot, or use speedbreaker, because it will increase the mass (weight) of your car. This will make life easier, well, at least, make getting through spike strips easier O_o

Use the speedbraker to dodge.. It's possible to get away..

One day I was in my gallardo and I hit the spike strip, I put the nitrous and crash into a persuit breaker and destroy all the cops..

The car won't move, lol
But I did escape.. somehow..

Yeah, all these answers are corect. But the best option is to hit the cop car.
Sometimes you will go over the car but hey, it works!!! 8>)
