How do you set the guitar so you don't have to strum

Ok, this is not possible. If you've seen people not strum but hit notes, it's called hitting hammer ons, hitting hammer ons mean you jsut have to hit the colour, but hammer on notes are different than regular notes, hammer ons have the middle white circle glow, when you see those , you don't need to strum them

The only way to play without having to chord and strum at the same time is by using a normal Playstation controller thus,enabling you to chord and strum by only pushing one button. That is the only way I can think of it's not as fun as using the guitar but,using this method you will find that faster and more complicated songs are easier to master.Only now you have to memorize which button does what.Hope it helps!
