The easiest way to beat lou is the first power up that you get must be a wammy power up, it might take awhile for it to be the right power up that you want (which is the wammy obviessly) so you might have to restart a couple times until you get the it. When you get that, wait until lou starts to hit those fast constant green notes (which is a couple seconds after your first power up) then you use it right at the beginning of those constant green notes that he hits, when you use it at that part he will instantly fail and then you will have to finish him off (which is not hard at all so don't worry).
