ANSWERS

Yes, there are a few planes(Hydras) in the hangars at the back of the airport.
Go to the front of the airport, go right till you reach the entrance gate to the back of the airport to the hangar(you have to have passed Toreno's Flying Tests to gain access to the planes).

If you mean the big hanger near the end of it, yes there is. In there is an Airliner, the biggest plane in the game. I think it's called the AT 400. It also can reach maximum height in the sky if you you fly it correctly.

In the larger hanger, you can put what ever you want to in there.

In one of them you have to earn the hydra from some mission/ and in the other one it's whatever plane they give you for completing the flying school for that one annoying guy.

(Didn't know which hanger so I answered for all three
just in case)

The big hangar is for you to put planes in, just like a garage at one of your safe houses you can put about 6 cars/planes in this hangar and when you save your game they will still be there. the planes that spawn at your air base are a hunter, a laviathan, a stunt plane , a rustler a hydra and a jet pack.

The big hanger at your airstip is like the garages but for planes you can put a load of planes in there and when you save it they will still be there when you load again
