Question for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

After I completed the "House Party" mission my completed mission was 12 and attempted mission was 13. Why is that.. Is "House Party" mission a two stage mission when I got the second one wrong. Why is it like that? Also when I complete Los Santos and move to the country sides and finish the Truth missions my missions completed and missions attempted was the same again.

Well at the end of the end I wanted my completed mission and attempted mission to be all the same... How do I do that?

Because when I finish the game and did not fail a finish I got two more for attempted missions. and get

It means you must have died on a earlier mission.Attempted missions is how missions you tried to do and have done,where as completed missions are only the ones you have completed.

You have died on another mission. It will never be the same no matter what you do to it.

If you die on a mission then you will fail it, thus adding 1 to attempted but not completed missions.
