Ok, I have been playing San Andreas for a long time. I quit playing it for like a couple months. Its scratched up a little bit, but not to much. My little brother always left it out of case and tripped over the cords of my playstation 2 and it would fall. Anyways ever time I try to get in a plane or drive a boat; I hear this noise coming from the disc tray just sounds like a scratch against a brick wall. Then it freezes is something wrong with my playstation 2 or the game?????

It's the game, you have to buy a new one and don't put in alot of cheats if you do get a new one.

If the ps2 is more than 1meter high it's your ps2 but other wise it is the game.

Well if you scratched the disc and screwed up your PS2 then it is both.

Well if you used cheats that could of screwed your game up, if your PS2 was pretty high up (more than 1m) it is probably your PS2. An easy way to find out is to try all your other games see if it goes wierd with that.
