ANSWERS

Use the auto-aim thing and aim at a gang member. Press up on the d-pad while holding the auto-aim button. Sometimes you have to do it a couple of times before it works.

What's the title of the mission your on?

Theres a couple of missions with you recruiting your gang members.

I manuallyl aimed it at the people, you can usually blast there heads off like that.

Target them with R1 then press up on the directional button to recruit them, I hope I gave you the right answer.
