I am at the part where you have to go through pilot school.
 
 In the third stage of it, (where you have to circle the airfield) every time I take off, the plane's engine dies and i cant fly through the rings.
 
 Please someone help me if you know why this is happening.
 
 This is the only mission I have to do now so I can't beat the game without doing this first.

When you are taking off, take off slowly and glide though the air not straight up like a rocket.

i think you must be pulling up too fast and letting the plane stall. when you start hold x and power down the runway when the tail rises pull back slightly just enough to get it off the floor then press R3 quickly and climb steadily to the corona. if you lose power press down a bit and pull up slowly again. Hope I've helped.

Sounds like you are pulling up to much to get off the ground, the plane will come off the groung automatically, just slowly. Only pull up a little and you will get of the ground with out stalling it

This happened to me as well, then I realized I hadn't raised my landing gear. (R3) Hope this helps.

Amazingly enough, I had problems on this too for about half an hour. Even though you aren't told to, you must press R3 to retract your landing gear while in the air.

Yep, these guys are right. You must be pulling the plane up to fast or to much. you need to take it easy.

Sounds like you suck at flying. Have you ever flown before? Tilt the nose of the aircraft up a tiny bit and not vertically. The only way the engine will die is if you take off too suddenly, or you don't get enough speed up to take off.

Your going to feel really stupid like I did when this happened to me lol.

You probably worked out by now that you have to pull up the landing gear (press R3).

You have to climb little by little. The only plane with a strong enough engine is the hydra.
