How many cheats can I use before the game starts screwing up?

ANSWERS

There's a couple things what your asking depends on of which I'll try to answer for all.

#1. Depends if your talking about using cheats you put in to the controller or if your talking about cheat device cheats as well or only. Reason: I have currently counted 42 (trouble causing and non-trouble causing (tc&ntc) valid controller entered cheats and 1055 (tc&ntc) cheat device codes.

#2. How long your playing for, and where your playing at. Reason: Certain codes could probably mess the game up dependant upon where your at.

If screwing up the game implies negative effects in the game and if your talking about controller entered in cheats I'd say 22 because almost half of the codes I have listed as (tc&ntc) because they are either codes that when entered have a negative effect, modify something that another code modifies, and or a 1 time entered in code that effects all other codes when not using a cheat device (commit suicide cheat code).

If your implying using a Codebreaker 8.1 or 8.2 of which there are 1055 codes available for using, I cant answer your question because at that point I'd be going into what could be debatable as far as what codes do and don't ruin the gameplay.

Not to sound like yoda or anything but... "For each and every positive there is it's equal negative"... as such I believe I've probably said too much already since I let you in on a cheat list that I want to release thats compiled from many other sites but cant release yet on the grounds of fearing legality issues.

22 if your just talking about controller entered in cheats without negative effects, and thats out of a total of 42 total valid cheats entered in by controller that I know work.

The game will never screw up if you use to many cheats.

Its 500. If you cheat over 500 times in your game a mission where you save madd dogg becoomes impossible for some reason and you have to start again :/
