Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Questions

Even the greatest of gamers need a small helping hand sometimes. I need help on the following 'school' missions;
<BR>
<BR>'Alley Oop' I can't seem to get over 96%, though I've tried a lot.
<BR>
<BR>'Street racer' At my very best I managed 117 seconds and 0% damage but only got 90%.
<BR>
<BR>'Circle around the airstrip' I'm just aiming for silver, as gold seems nigh-on impossible.
<BR>
<BR>'Circle strip & land' Same as above.
<BR>
<BR>'Take out targets' Any tips for the moving cars?
<BR>
<BR>'Jump and Stoppie' I can't control my bike after the jump.
<BR>Any hints would be appreciated.

A lot of these seem impossible but with a little concentration they can be done. I will also put ratings up one threw ten, one being easy ten being near impossible.
--Alley Oop-- 7/10

This one isn't that hard if you do it right. What you want to do is aproach the ramp so that only your right two tires are lined up with the side of it. as soon as you fly off the ramp stop accelerating and turn your analogue stick "left". you should do a full spin and land on all four tires.
--Street Racer-- 9/10

Street Racer sucks mainly because the car your using(Super-GT) sucks at handling. What you want to do is start by driving down the middle of the road as fast as possible. If your car starts fish tailing, let go of the accelerator (x) and steer out of it. Go threw every turn without using the accelerator it will make you spin out.

Don't worry about your time it will just make you nervous. Now, once you go threw the checkpoint and your headed back the other way it gets trickier as you probably know.

You will have to go slower here then at the beggining of the race because there is no middle lane to speed threw, pass only when you are certen their are no cars coming the other way.

It may also help to press (x) half way and not all the way down on your controller. If your going to make contact with another object do it at a very slow speed and their will be no damage. If theres noticeable damage to your car you minus well restart.

-- Circle around airstrip missions-- 5/10
These are not to dificult if you use strategy. You just need to practice more with flying. Use small adjestments with your rudder and analogue stick, and don't turn too heavy, or you won't regain control of the plane befor the next corona. It's a little tedious but if you focus on each corona you should be able to complete it.

--Take out targets-- 7.5/10
Hellicopters are hard to control in this game mainly because of your view threw different angles, (such as you turn your hellicopter around and your view is of the hellicopter and not whats in front of the hellicopter{hate that}).

What I do to correct this is by hitting *R2 and L2 quickly and when you release your seeing in front of you again. This mission is not very tough, for me the part that took a few tries was landing perfect in the red marker.

When you start stay low to the ground and use your guns not your missles to destroy the trucks, after there destroyed turn sharply and change camera angles* .

Head towards the cars quickly while staying low, once you get close hover over them and use your guns to destroy them, just keep shooting your guns repeatedly in their procsimity until their done. Quickly after head over to the red marker and land the 'front part' of the helicopter in the 'center' of the red marker. Do this slowly cause damage will cost you points.

--Jump and Stoppie-- 8/10
This took me a couple of tries to do but it is possible.

Lean forward when you start and get tons of speed befor you hit the ramp, keep your hand on the accelerator even after you fly off the ramp, speed, speed, speed. Now heres the trick don't break at all, just let go of the gas right befor you land and just lean forward a little bit.

If you do this right you should slide right in the center of the cones and get 98 to a 100 percent. If you hit the cone in the center you didn't let off of the gas early enough, if you fall short then you let off to soon.

Hey I know what you mean I have the same problems sometimes. So from one great gamer to another:

Alley Oop is quite hard but there isone trick which got me gold. Go up the right side of the ramp and twist over to the right. If you get more than 3 quaters of the car n the ramp you should have no trouble.

Street racer is easy when you know how. Turn right straight away and go down to the railway track. Follow the track until you see a grass bank on your left. Drive downthe bank until you hit the road. The first checkpoint is straight ahead. Then swivel around and follow the freeway home. Following the track ensures minimum damage.

Circle and land. I have ony recently got 99 percent on this but I do have one trick. When circling try to let go of x to ensure a smooth ride. But as time is against you on the last 3 coranas it is time to pelt it. One final trick for this is when landing it is best to land heavily on the end of the runway as with a bit of force you can easily land n the marker.

Take out targets. The cars moving follow a cirtain pattern so it is best to learn this before any shooting takes place. Try to let the cars run into each other as they pass to spread fire and aim ahead of the cars.

Jump and Stoppie. It is good to reverse slightly at the start here. Also when going up the ramp try to pop a wheelie s this will help you lean back earlier.
