When it rains the game slows down slightly and when you ride in the desert the dust slows the game down to is this a known problem that can be solved or is it just my graphics card I have a ati radeon 9600 thanks!!!!!.

Unfortunately this appears to be a problem with all ATI graphics cards, probably a side effect of rockstars tie-in with n-videa, only one real solution (Other than put up with it) and spend the cash on an n-videa card (not worth the money)

Its a problem with the ATI card.
My graphics card is fine, sometimes it lags if I'm going to fast for the landscape to load, but apart from that, works perfectly.

I have this prob. too but HAD a nvidia 256mb but it eventually died, literally. I put in an ATI 256mb
