Well, that's not really all that much to go off of. I'm really good with computers, but even I don't think I could give you much help yet. If you start a thread there listing what you've done and check back on it every few hours, people might be able to help you trouble shoot your problem and come up with a solution. I know it may sound like a bit of work, but the accounts are free to make and it'll get you your solution.

With the provided information, this is the most likely scenario: The file in question was probably corrupted by cheat-generated data. The originator of the file probably used cheats to gain access to items, abilities, and other unlockables. This individual probably ignored the WARNING that the game issues, [paraphrase] "One or more cheats have been activated. This might be a problem. Continue? (Y/N)"
You need to download saved games that are NOT the result of cheating. Me, I like cheats; they're great to have fun withÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ¢ÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ¦but, DEFINITELY not to be used in competition (unless all players agree to use the same cheats in an impromptu deathmatch or something). Also possible: Version patches sometimes render unpatched saved games unlaunchable. I believe this might be the case with the "Cold Coffee" update/patch.
