When you get calls from your guests that say "help, I'm in a cold place" or something like that, you might wonder where they are at. Well, they're in the freezer, apparently somehow they got locked in there! So you have to go to the freezer (in the basement, next to the rat cave) and go to the guest. When you press the a button to interact with them, an option that says "rescue" comes up. You must select this, then the guest will say "thank you I owe you my life- but you'll have to wait until I'm not using it" haha.. Hope this helped :D
Note: this is how I decorated my hotel rooms after I beat the game
Modern guest room:
I made this into a movie theater. In the bathroom, I put 3 toilets and 2 sinks . In the main part of the room, I put a whole load of black couches, and in front of all of them I put a huge flat screen television.
Deluxe guest room:
I made this into a beauty salon sort of thing. I put a few showers, a jacuzzi, the alien mod bed(where you can change the color of your skin to colors like purple), and some fancy beds.
Jungle room:
I made this into a zoo! I put the yeti statue, a painting I made of a tiger in a cage, a bunyip, a jellyfish tank, plants, the mummy sarcophagus, and a koi pond.
Small guest room:
I made this into an all gold room. I have a gold toilet, gold sink, gold shower, yellow couch, yellow bed, and two big pots of gold.
Managers Suite:
I made this into an arcade! I put the dance floor, all of the arcade machines in the game, and the computer.
Penthouse:
I made this into just a fancy modern room for guests (for money purposes)!
Feel free to use any of my ideas or tweak them a bit. I hope I helped some of you think of decorating ideas for your hotels! It's something fun to do after you beat the game; and remember, check the store every day!
Well we all know that on this game you can milk the cows. And if you tip a cow then milk it, You get a milkshake. But I have recently found three other things you can do:
1. If you have the lion lounge or the sax lounge located in the Atrium buy a chocolate candy bar and gift a cow with it. Then the cow will turn brown. So if you milk it, You'll have Chocolate Milk. If you tip and milk you'll get a Chocolate Shake.
2. If you have the secret warehouse located in the Basement, You will meet big foot. He will start a conversation that says he just wants to be fed. So if you buy food from the saloon or lion lounge -etc.- and gift that upon Big Foot, he will bring joy to unhappy or unrestrained guest in your lobby. And the kick is, instead of waiting for them to become happy on their own, or wasting time trying to calm, restrain, -etc.-, you can gift him with food as many times as you want if you want joy upon your guests.
3. If you do various and/or random acts around Strangetown (ONLY WORKS IF YOU HAVE A VANITY MIRROR AND AND KIND OF DRESSER) then you can be rewarded by receiving new outfits for your sim. Like Ava Cadavra's Look or Mamma Hog's look. There are many looks to be unlocked.
TIP: Becareful when buying Deluxe versions of items. Once you use them, they tend to get dirtier than the non- deluxe items. You may have to scrub the shower or toilet more often than usual.
TIP: Keep an eye out for free items. When someone tells you that they swapped out the items in their room for different colors, there is usually a hidden item within the walls. To retrieve the item, you must have something inside your "pocket". Tap on the 'move' or'pick up' selection and it will take you to a screen where you can move your guest's furniture. If you see a square in an unusual place, that's the item the guest left you. You can take it and put it in the Manager Suite, you can find a place and put it in their room, or you can sell it or put it in another guest's room. These free items are usually Plasma screen TVs, Pot'o' gold, Small Plant, Large Plant, and sometimes a Holiday Yeti. It can be anything,really. Hoped this helped you get a free decoration!

There are many ways to make money on the Sims. If you are stumped and can't find a fun way to make money here's how.
1. Guests sometimes say someone stole their furniture from their room. Go find it and ring it back to them, they will pay you about 1.000 -2.000.
2. Milk the cows out by the cow shack. You can sell the milk at the Strangetown General Store. Unfortunately, the milk only sells for $2 a glass.
3. You can mix music in the Lion Lounge or the Sax Lounge. The more Creativity Skill POints you have, the more money you make. I think you make $5 a minute.
4. Sell flyers.If you go to the lobby,there will be a flyer holder. Your guests will buy the flyers and they sell for about $12 a flyer.
5. Use your Metal Detector, you will find Nuclear Fuel Rods, Mummified Aliens, Gold, Silver and Copper bars, and Rocks. Sell all of these at the Strangetown Store, you will get the best deal here.
6. Go to the Vault, and you can use your Gold, Silver or Copper Bars here, to make coins out of them. This will make you about the same amount of money as you would sell them at the Strangetown Store. NOTE: This is illegal,in the game, becareful or you can be sent to jail.

To get very easy money, when Frankie Fusilli checks into your hotel he tells you to buy the Vault for 3.000. So you buy it and you have built it, Frankie puts some of his money in there.
You can steal his money, but only a little bit at a time. If you steal too much of it, Jimmy the Neck will catch you and send you back to the manager suite.
Another way to make money in the Vault, is to print money in the money machine. Becareful that you don't print too much, or you'll get thrown into jail and/or bail will be deducted to your account! Becareful!
During gone point in the game, there would be a computer available to buy at the Strangetown Store. You can place it in your Manager Suite or your Guest's room(s).
You can spam people, but becareful, if you spam too much, you might be sent to jail and/or pay a fine of 1.000.

At one point in the game Ava Cadavra calls you and tells you to go and look for the pyramid at night. When you look for it, a mummy pops out of the pyramid. The mummy's name is Horus Menhoset IX.
He tells you to go and dig up his Sarcophogus. So you get your Metal Detector.
HINT: If you can't find the Sarcophogus, go over to the oasis and go over to the water part over to the oasis and take out your Metal Detector. This is where the Sarcophogus.

If your guest is angry, he/she may set the room on fire. They will call you and tell you. They may not always be angry when they set they're room on fire. They may call you and say "I have aflame affection for you. Just to let you know, I set my room on fire." There should be little flames all over the guest's room. So obviously, you take out your water gun and squirt the little flames. When they are all gone, the guest will say it was just an accident.
Here's a few tricks that I figured out.
1. In the desert, bring your metal detector out. (Make sure it's charged!) Go out by the UFO and use the Metal Detector. You might find quite a few Mummified Aliens over there in that area. If it's anywhere, they are ALWAYS in that area.
2. Whatever you do, when you have the Mummified Aliens in your "Pocket" take them to the Strangetown Store and sell them there. You make more money selling them at the store than you do doing an Autopsy.
3. When you complete an Alien Autopsy, you get about, let's say $150. When you sell an Alien, you get $365. So, as you can see, it's a better deal to not perfrom surgery on the alien and just sell it as it is.
4. How to send away aliens. When Emperor Xizzle and his little annoying minions come and land in Strangetown, head over to the Rat Cave and change into the Ratticator. The aliens can usually be found in the town, in the basement of your hotel, in the Atrium, and sometimes in the Lobby.
5. Another way to send away aliens. The other way to send aliens off is to use your water or squirt gun. Make sure that it is ALWAYS loaded with plenty of water. You can fill up the Water gun at the toilet, sink, the well located in the corner of the Saloon and the Strangetown store.
6. MAJOR NOTE: Here is a HUGE secret to send away aliens. Go to the desert. Take out your water gun. Go over to that green- looking lake. Fill up your water gun with that stuff, and you'll be taking out aliens like no tomorrow!!

When you go to the desert to kill aliens or save your friends from them, collect nuclear fuel rods, use the metal detector and search for skill points, makae sure you bring food AND drink with you at all times.
Being in the desert too long decreases your sanity. So make sure to stop by the saloon and buy some food. Yo can also buy drinks there, but I would suggest to milk the cows and you get free drinks that way.
If you don't bring food and/or drink with you to the desert,you will faint or get abducted by aliens, causing what I call, Desert Drama.
Time Traveling is ok to do sometimes. But if you do it too much, it could damage your game and your guy/ girl will most likely walk funny.
Remember, if you time travel to more than 5 years ahead of time, the concierge will call you on your phone and he will call you a dirty, rotten cheater or something like that and there will probably be a huge alien invasion.
Another part of time traveling is that your hotel will be a mess. There will be dust piles everywhere and your hotel's power supply will be out.

There are many ways to earn money of your own. So let's start with the basics. The cash on The Sims 2 are called Simoleans. First, you start out with $2,000 Simoleans at the start of the game. But, you spend big bucks at the start of the game. You have to pay for the Casino because it is one of your goals and if you don't pay for it, you're stuck on that goal until you can afford it. Then, you pay Giuseppi Mezzoalto $200 Simoleans for his Squirt gun to send Emperor Xizzle away with his minions. Next, you have to pay Frankie Fussili $1,000 Simoleans ( I think) to buy a plane ticket for his cousin, 'Jimmy the Neck'. Finally, you have to build the Bovine Shrine for Ava Cadavra and buy her 'Rotting Eggplant' color lipstick. It's not that expensive, I believe it's about $5 Simoleans.
Anyway, Let's move on to MAKING money. Here are some ways to earn $$$$$.
1. You can build the Art Gallery. Paint some art and sell it for X-tra cash! The better the painting the more it's worth!
2. Build hotel rooms. This is great for making money because the more you have built, the more guests you can check in and the more money you get at once when they check out.
3.Sell gourds and Nuclear fuel rods. Go to the Saloon and sell the gourds there. NOT AT THE STORE. Go to the City Hall and sell the Nuclear Fuel Rods there NOT THE STORE. Buy the Metal Detector and use it in the Desert and you can find stuff. Either keep it, give the items to friends or sell it for money.
4. When you build the vault for Frankie Fusili, he keeps his money in there. You can steal his bags of cash! NOTE: Only take $100. If you come back too many times or take too much money, Jimmy the Neck throws you out of the Vault and you end up back in the Manager's Suite!
5. Build the Lounges. The Sax lounge or the Lion lounge. There should be a keyboard there and you can Mix Music or create your own ringtones for your phone. When you Mix music, you earn about $5 dollars a minute. The more Creativity skillpoints your have, the more money you get a minute. TIP: Leave your DS On and plug it in the charger and by the time you unplug it, you should have some bucks!!
6. You can improve guest bedrooms. How you do this is you have to take ALL the furniture in their room and take it down to the store and sell it. There should be a deluxe version of the bed, shower etc. Buy them. Since you have the money that you sold the furniture with, buy the deluxe versions! When guests come to check out, they will pay you more, since the room have deluxe versions of things. Be sure to keep guests happy during their stays, so they might even tip you a few hundred dollars!

When you find a liscence plate, it should be on the wall of your Manager Suite. It might seem like you find many, but all of the liscence plates aren't on the wall. That's because you probably found a lot of the same liscnece plates. I had this problem myself!
TIP : Play the Sims 2 whenever time you can and find liscence plates at different times.
I had the problem of having found 37 liscence plates and I wondered why they weren't all on the wall. I soon realized that most were the same ones. If you scroll up you can see the liscence plate times to help you unlock 'Razor Burn' and 'Combat Mode'.

Go into the vault in the basement once franky tells you to buy it and go straight foreward. You will see a device that will allow you to print ten dollars. It is very useful and is unlimited how much money you want to print. This is a very easy way to make some money and buy more stuff for yourself. Also did you know that the more expencive the items in the guest rooms are then the more money they will tip you when they check out. Hope you like my tips! Thnkx!! ~Oompfloompshimer

Have you ever noticed that the bad people always check into the Penthouse before you can check anyone into it? These people are: (In order) First,Frankie Fusilli, Ava Cadavra, and last but not least,Optimum Alfred.
Here are the goals you complete when Ava Cadavra moves in:
Build the Bovine Shrine. NOTE: Building takes 8 hours.
Meet Ava, try to become her Best Friend to unlock her secret.
Here are the goals you complete when Frankie Fusilli moves in:
Meet Frankie Fusilli Become Best friend to unlock his secret
Meet Penelope Redd (She conficates the chest and the shovel. She takes Frankie to jail.)
Here are the goals you complete when Optimum Alfred moves in:
Meet Optimum Alfred be his Best Friend to unlock his secret.
Beat the game.
Unlock the song 'Credits Theme' (available in the XAM satillite radios and Music Panels.)
Outside in the "patio" inside the Penthouse, you can somewhat see a little bit of what is Desert or empty land. In the "patio" (Outside the glass sliding doors)is a really good place to put a Bubble Massager. (Available in the Strangetown store. Very rarely for sale there.) The Bubble Massager is sorta like a Jacuzzi. Guests will pay your more for that!
Ok, now time for the glitch.
Go in the Penthouse when another person is in there. Now go outside and go in front of the glass sliding door. (The white somewhat see- through door.) The person (and you) will turn white! But the furniture will not turn white and it will remain the same color.

Those were the times and places for the liscence plates. If you find 12 of them you unlock the song, 'Combat Mode' and if you find all 24 of them you unlock the song 'Razor Burn'
