how do i get to the bow?

Ok I'm in the forest temple I went through the twisted the twisted room but the room after that I'm warned to watch out for shadows on the ceiling I go over to the dorr and it's locked as for the colorful chest well it's on the side of the wall how do I get to it?

You will get to that chest later so don't worry now. I have not played this game in a while, but I believe that to you just need to get the key located by going to the forward room in the main room of the temple. I remember that will battle two skeletons with sword and shield, defeating them and retrieving a key used to unlock that door. If you have that key, there are also others but I don't clearly remember them as well. Anyways, after you go through that door, you should be at a room with a 3 pictures in it (1 with a ghost in it that disappears as you near it), in which you will walk through it, open the next door, and battle some more skeletons as the mini-boss, in which you will retrieve the hero's bow as your reward. I hope that helps some.

The yellow and blue chest on the side of the wall contains the Boss Key. You obtain this later by using the Bow (obtained later on in the dungeon) to shoot at the silver eye switch above the door before the twisted hallway. This will rotate the room, allowing you to reach the chest.
There are several Silver Keys that you need to get in this dungeon. There is one at the top of the vines in the first room, where the 2 Wolfos are. There is one in the room straight ahead, where the 2 Stafos are. There is another one in the well, once you drain the water out of it.
By the way, the best way to defeat the Floormaster in the room with the chest is to stand still until you see a shadow over you, then start running around. Then when the Floormaster drops, kill it.
