Question for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Please help! So far I've gone to the forest temple and beaten it. The most recent items I've received are the iron boots and the hook shot. I think I need to go to the fire temple, but there's a rock in the way and I don't know how to get the red goron suit.

Head to Goron City and you will notice it is empty apart from one Goron who is rolling nonstop on one of the levels. You need to stop him, but in order to do that you need a bomb to explode right when he goes by. So place a bomb that times out correctly to explode when he rolls by and once you have done it correctly he will stop rolling and you can talk to him. He will explain the troubles at the Fire Temple and then give you the Red Tunic. From there you can head into the Fire Temple. You can enter the Fire Temple from where you played Saria's Song for Daurina when you were a child. The statue can be pulled out revealing a door to Death Mountain.

Well, I shall say congratulations on figuring it out or say use a bomb.....just so this question is no longer unanswered.
Just tying up loose ends...

If the rock is bach you need bombs if the rock is red you need the megaton hammer so maybye in death mountain crater you are stuck in front of the great fairys fountain
