How do I move a family into a new house? I want to build the 'family home' and move an existing family into it? Is that possible? If so, how?

It can be possile, I am doing this right now with my family. Firstly you will need to divorce the couple you want to move if they are married by "being rude" and "complaning" it will come up on there as split up or divorce.
Secondly buy the house and wait for it to finish buliding, after it is built you can move in one of the people from the family, then make the person go to their new house and the other members go to the house that you want to live there.
Make the family members "Good friends" and make sure that the person living in the house is asking then ask them to "Move in" and they should live there. If you get the problem that I did with the toddler or pre teen owning the other house, don't worry about it because that happened to me too. Just make sure the toddler or pre-teen is living with their parents and save the house for when they are older then they will be able to live by their self there.

If you sims are married then divorce them and make them good friends them move one of the sims out then make the two sims build a relationship then move the other sim in .

Warning:If you Have Kid Who Was A Preteen Before you Moved He/She Might Be Lefted Behind.

All you need to do is build a house then press locate family and choose what family you want to move in
